Harold Arthur McNeill has been driven to create during most
of his 42 years. Never in accord with contempory plutocratic values, his
work has often reminded many of other periods of history with which he more
deeply resonates. His work has appeared in many contexts ranging from Magic
and Vampire card games to alternative publications including Runa and
Apocalypse Culture II.
He has also embarked upon music/oratory under the name of
Republic, which was released by Storm Records by a long time friend
Michael Moynihan of Blood Axis, which also applied some of his designs.
Some of his favorite written works range from Friedrick
Nietzsche' Thus Spake Zarathustra, and Francis Yockey's Imperium.
Of course he also has a fondness for H.P. Lovecraft and Aleister
Crowley. His musical tastes include The Moon Lay Hidden beneath a Cloud,
Blood Axis, Laibach, and many brooding wagnerian soundtracks, not
to mention Johnny Cash and The Monkees.
His military training was for nuclear weapons on Trident
submarines in the U.S.Navy. An upcoming application of his
painting will be on the cover of a limited edition of the political
writings of Julius Evola called Men Among the Ruins published by
Dominion Press/Michael Moynihan.
He looks forward to contributing to the coming dawn of a world of
honor being accelerated by the incompetence of the present, and
knows that compromise is never a final solution. His command of
language is confined to english, so inquiries regarding sculpture,
images, or thought should be in that form.
